Obituary

John Bacon, 58, of Missoula passed away September 23, 2020 at the St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

A celebration of Life will be held in May of 2021 in Alberton, Montana. Memorials may be directed to the family and online condolences can be left at cremationburialsocietyoftherockies.com.

John Brady Bacon, son of Charlie and Pauline (Kent) Bacon, was born September 8, 1962, in Hamilton, Montana. He attended school in the Alberton area and graduated from Alberton High School at the age of 17. John worked in the sawmills, the racetrack, and as a bartender; he was a true jack-of-all-trades.

John had a kind soul and was a people person; some would say, he never met a stranger. He loved animals, especially cats and dogs. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter of wild asparagus and morrell mushrooms. John had a passion for old cars. He enjoyed reading and was very knowledgeable. John always help others, especially the homeless. He was a kind son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed.

John is survived by sisters, Nancy (Fred) Silver; Lillian (Levi) McGillivray; brothers, Mike (Linda) Bacon; Ken (Jaimie) Munson and Charlie Bacon, Jr.; cousin, Sheri Keenan; aunts, Sandy (Lee) Pierce; Patty (Tom) Nicholl; Punky Kent; nephews, Jason, Jeff, Cole; niece, Melissa; and many more nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Pauline Bacon; brothers, Mortie Bacon and Rick Bacon.
