Obituary for Jake Higgins

Jake Higgins, beloved husband and daddy, passed on June 9th at home surrounded by his loving wife, family, and friends.

Jake was born in Missoula on May 1st 1990 to Jerri Sparks and Raymond Higgins.

He attended Superior high school where he played numerous sports but his all time favorite was by far football. His favorite NFL team being the New England Patriots. He graduated with honors and was off to explore the world.

Jake had several different jobs. Building bridges, working in the oil fields, but his favorite was the one he could B.S with all sorts of people as a casino attendant at Lucky Lils.

Jake had an insatiable gift to gab. He loved to joke and tease with most of his customers, friends, and family. He had an infectious addiction to gambling and loved playing games at home which included farkle and cribbage. Jake was always so competitive, disappointed if he lost. He'd always say " if your not a winner your a loser" or " if your not first your last".

Jake had a real love for clothing and shoes. I believe he had more shoes than alot of women. He always had to match.

Jakes biggest dream was to have a family. After some trials and tribulations Jake met the love of his life, wife Allyssa, where they built their small family with their two daughters Avaleigh and Kynslee. He was such a proud daddy.

Jake is survived by his loving wife Allyssa, daughters Avaleigh and Kynslee, mother Jerri (Rodney) Thompson, father Raymond (Jill) Higgins, grandmother Lorena Price, sisters Jazz Berry, Ginger and Heather Reese, brothers Trevin Berry and Derek Higgins, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jake also had a sensational extended family which includes Calvin (Stacy) Berry and Larry Price.
