Art Greydanus passed away in a retirement home in Missoula, Montana on October 24, 2020.
He was born to Arie Sr. and Tjitskjen (Okkema) Greydanus in Manhattan, Montana on May 15, 1922. He was raised in the Gallatin and Madison Valleys. He was a lifetime rancher, except for working for Boeing in Seattle, Washington for two years during World War II.
He married Marie (Billie) Thayer on February 17, 1971. They ranched together on Lolo Creek, in Missoula County, for many years. She proceeded him in death on May 11, 1988. He is also preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Sam, Herman, Arie Jr. and two sisters Gertrude and Jannette Greydanus. He is survived by one brother Mark, and his wife Judy of Pony, Montana and many nieces and nephews.
He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife at the Florence-Carlton cemetery in Florence, Montana.
Arrangements are under the care of Cremation Burial Society of the Rockies.
